voittr collects the following information to provide the service:
Your data is used to:
You may post clips anonymously. Anonymous clips are removed from your profile but remain visible in the feed, map, and radio. When you post a clip with anonymous visibility, other users cannot see your identity. You can still manage and delete your anonymous clips. While your account exists, we store internally that you posted it for moderation and legal compliance purposes. The recording, location, or content may still identify you even when your name is hidden. This feature is optional.
Location is used for nearby discovery and is required when posting a clip. If location permission is unavailable, some browsing can continue using the app’s fallback location. Coordinates and timestamps are stored with each clip you post. Location data is used to show clips on the map and in the location-based feed. We recommend reviewing clip visibility settings before sharing location-sensitive information.
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your profile and attributed clips, but anonymous clips you posted remain available for public discovery without attribution and have no automatic expiry. Removal of associated audio files and authentication records may complete separately from removal of your account records.
You can delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion:
You can also request deletion without the app at voittr.com/delete-account or by emailing ren@ghostworkers.dev. We verify ownership before processing a request. Anonymous clips retain their audio, coordinates and timestamps without an account attribution; they may still identify a speaker or place. Operational request logs are retained separately for service security and administration until automatically rotated as log storage fills. Account deletion does not immediately erase these logs. Service providers retain their own operational records under their policies.
You can request a copy of your data through your account settings. We will prepare a data export and make it available for download within 48 hours.
GhostWorkers operates Voittr and uses service providers to run it:
Your selected clip audience determines who can access published content. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Voittr uses operational logs to run and secure the service and Shorebird’s aggregate active-install counts for native update delivery. It does not use advertising trackers or track your activity outside Voittr. Browser authentication uses Firebase session storage.
voittr is not intended for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information immediately.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at ren@ghostworkers.dev.
